Prof. Maria Aluchna, Ph.D.

She specializes in corporate governance, corporate groups, and ESG issues. She has been collaborating with the Law Firm Głuchowski Siemiątkowski Zwara and Partners since 2011.

She is the head of the Department of Management Theory at the Warsaw School of Economics, Chair of the Discipline Council for Management and Quality Sciences, and the director of the Postgraduate Program in Product and Service Management. She teaches courses in corporate governance and selected issues in management and stakeholder relations. She has also lectured at institutions such as the University of Cambridge, Nottingham Business School, and University College London.

Prof. Aluchna is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute, European Academy of Management, Academy of Management, and Academy of International Business. She is also a member of editorial boards of various industry journals and has authored numerous articles in academic periodicals and publications.

She holds a degree in Management and Marketing from the Warsaw School of Economics. Prof. Aluchna has been a scholarship recipient from several prestigious organizations, including German academic institutions, the Polish-American Fulbright Commission, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst, the Foundation for Polish Science, Soros Foundation, and Volkswagen Foundation. She completed research internships at London Metropolitan Business School and University of Sydney Business School.

Prof. Aluchna is fluent in English and also speaks German.
