Habilitated doctor of Legal Sciences. He specializes in criminal law in the broadest sense. He has particular experience in cases involving criminal aspects of protection of economic turnover (especially managerial crimes), criminal fiscal cases, criminal liability for infringement of intellectual property rights. He has been working with the Law Firm Głuchowski Siemiątkowski Zwara and Partners since 2010.

University professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Chair of Criminal Law at the Jagiellonian University). Member of the District Bar Council in Krakow (chairman of the Legal and Legislative Commission), Committee of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Legal Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, Bioethics Commission at the District Medical Chamber in Krakow. Arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sports at the Polish Olympic Committee.

Author and co-author of dozens of scientific publications including monographs, commentaries and articles on the Penal Code, the Fiscal Penal Code, the Commercial Companies Code, copyright and related law, industrial property law and the Act on Combating Unfair Competition. Editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Criminal Law and Penal Sciences” published by the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences in Kraków and the Kraków Institute of Criminal Law.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. He served his judicial training and passed the judicial examination.
