Cultural Property
About us
Compliance with historic preservation laws can be crucial for real estate development activities. We support clients in all projects where this aspect must be taken into account.
We direct our services to both private individuals, public entities and, for example, organizational units of churches. We advise on historic preservation law in investments involving real estate development in the broadest sense. We provide services in projects involving, among other things, development, conservation and restoration work or archaeological research.
Our clients can count on comprehensive legal support regardless of the type of property. We advise on individual properties, historic urban and rural layouts and building complexes. Our services also cover movable cultural property.
We have extensive experience in historic preservation law, but also in real estate and investments, among others. This allows us to create effective, individual solutions for our clients.
We provide legal advice and represent clients in administrative and administrative court proceedings concerning:
- the process of development of properties entered in the Registry of Cultural Property;
- entry or deletion of real estate from the Registry of Cultural Property;
- covering cultural property with other forms of protection, including the establishment of protection in the local zoning plan;
- protection of movable cultural property, e.g., through entry in the museum’s inventory;
- obtaining conservation permits, e.g. for conservation, restoration, construction works or archaeological research;
- obtaining necessary agreements of conservation authorities;
- areas inscribed or planned for inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List, including management of such areas and their buffer zones.

- We provided consulting services in connection with conservation and construction works in one of the biggest churches in Poland;

- We advised a client on a case involving a planned development in Warsaw on a property located in a buffer zone for a UNESCO World Heritage List.
