Court and Arbitration Disputes
Jak możemy pomóc Ci w tym temacie?
We conduct proceedings before common courts, arbitration courts, the Supreme Court, administrative courts, and the Supreme Administrative Court.
Conducting court and arbitration disputes is one of the key areas of practice at our law firm.
Our legal dispute resolution practice is not limited to a specific area of law. We have many years of experience in handling both civil and criminal cases across most business sectors and nearly every field of law. We successfully represent our clients in major court disputes concerning infrastructure projects, construction, real estate, post-transaction disputes (M&A), finance and banking, insurance, and unfair competition, with dispute values often reaching several hundred million PLN.
We also advise clients – both individuals and corporations – on matters related to the protection of personal rights and press law. We handle cases concerning the protection of personal rights, requests for correction publications, and defamation and insult matters.
We approach each case individually. Thanks to our extensive experience and working methodology, we are able to identify key issues early in the dispute, which allows us to develop and agree on the optimal litigation strategy with the client before the case is taken to court. We also assess the possibility and appropriateness of resolving the dispute amicably through negotiations, mediation, or alternative dispute resolution proceedings, always safeguarding our clients’ best interests.
Each case is handled by a dedicated team of lawyers, carefully selected based on the subject and complexity of the case.

Our achievements:
- A favorable ruling for our client from the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw in a post-transaction dispute with the buyer (M&A). In a precedent case concerning the possibility of basing a claim on two arbitration clauses under the Arbitration Rules of the Arbitration Court, the Panel found that it did not have jurisdiction, in line with the arguments presented by our law firm;
- A favorable settlement for our client, fully including their main claim, reached during arbitration proceedings initiated by the client before the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, regarding the settlement of consortium remuneration for a jointly executed infrastructure project. During the proceedings, the Arbitration Court granted our client provisional measures for their claims, which had a significant impact on concurrent settlement negotiations, supported by our law firm;
- A favorable ruling from the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw in a post-transaction dispute with the buyer (M&A) concerning representations and warranties (Representations & Warranties). The Panel, adopting the arguments presented by our law firm, dismissed all claims against our client (amounting to tens of millions PLN) and awarded our client the costs of the proceedings;
- A favorable judgment in a case concerning an IRS (Interest Rate Swap) transaction concluded with a bank as collateral for a bank loan. We represented an energy industry client in a precedent case regarding the improper settlement of an IRS transaction by the bank. The court, agreeing with the legal arguments, found our client’s claims to be entirely justified and declared the contract null and void;
- Favorable rulings in corporate matters, ensuring the retention or acquisition of control in a company, as well as rulings protecting minority shareholders’ rights;
- We advise and represent major entities listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in matters related to unfair competition, protection of personal rights, and press law. In the cases entrusted to us, several press corrections have been published on behalf of our clients, both in traditional (printed) press, as well as on internet portals and radio programs.
